About Churches Together
| The Churches have been working
together in a variety of ways for many years and there is a close
relationship between Christians of different traditions. Trinity Methodist Church belongs to the Telford Methodist Circuit. The Telford Methodist Circuit came into being on the 1st September 2001 with the joining of the Telford North and Telford South Circuits, it has 26 Churches and includes the Central Telford Ecumenical Partnership. St Andrew's Anglican Church is also linked pastorally with St Mary's Anglican Church in Sheriffhales. St Mary's Catholic Church is also linked pastorally with St Joseph's Catholic Church in Albrighton and shares the same Priest. The town of Shifnal in the
County of Shropshire could be described as semi rural and has a population
of about 6,500. It is on the edge of Telford New Town. Shifnal has developed quite a lot over the last 25 years,
and is still developing. |
